The Riverstone Way

The Riverstone Way is a process over 40 years in the making. It has been influenced by Phil’s experiences at the U.S. Naval Academy, great thinkers like Stephen Covey, Jim Collins and Malcolm Gladwell, the great faith traditions, and the school of hard knocks. Because we believe leadership cannot be separated from character, at the heart of The Riverstone Way is our proprietary process we call “Character-ization.” Like Covey, we believe that leadership is developed from the inside out, so we teach leadership at three levels: leading self, leading others and leading excellence.

One of the vital roles of a leader is to model and reinforce the values of the organization. They are the “keepers of the culture.” We work closely with our clients to customize our process to align with the organizational purpose and values and then teach your leaders to lead by your core values.
